Job Description
Duties Include:
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, delegating tasks and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance
- Oversee preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
- Ensure timely and accurate estimated tax payments and extensions
- Maintain compliance with changing tax laws and regulations
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Review client tax issues and provide recommendations
- Assist with tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses
- Conduct complex tax research and draft technical memos
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess implications
- Resolve escalated tax issues and provide guidance on technical matters
- Manage engagement budgets, billing, and collections
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of tax staff
- Organize workflow and ensure adherence to firm policies and deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
